So I read a quick review of this band in a magazine I buy. Passion Pit! I went online and looked up Take A Walk, as recommended and immediately fell in love! It's a great choon and they're a great band. To describe them...Arcade Fire meets Two Door Cinema Club. Maybe a bit of Bon Iver in there too:)
Gossamer is their second album, the first being Manners. I think Gossamer is a bit more summer'y but other than that, they have a similar musicality. I love their high pitched vocals, indie guitar, strong drums and wacky lyrics. What more could you want?! I believe this may be my album of the summer!
The songs to watch for are Sleepyhead, To Kingdom Come, and I'll Be Alright. Try them and see what you think!
